Mumbai Roots

Born in October 1983 in Mumbai, little Sandhya simply could not stay still. Living-room carpets became her stage, every film song on the radio was a cue, and every family function ended with her twirling in the middle of the room. She was dancing long before anyone taught her a single step — and loving every minute of it.

Devotion in Rhythm

Years of Bharatanatyam discipline, ghungroo tied tight, alongside Carnatic devotional singing in group bhajans. Rhythm and melody became one language — the foundation for everything that followed.

The Teacher
